Good morning! On behalf of Adam Boynton, Follett Store Manager and Dan
Taylor our Director of University Affairs, I have been asked to relay the
following message about a new ordering methodology with our on-campus bookstore,
Follett Corporation. Please, therefore, read the paragraphs below that we were
asked to relay to the community and let me know if you have any questions. Thank
you.
"Beginning August 1, 2006, all departmental purchases at the Seton Hall
University Bookstore should be paid for using your SHU Chase Credit Card.
Current cardholders may use their card along with their University ID to pay for
purchases of any items available in the store including supplies, gifts, special
orders, desk copies (as permissible by SHU), textbooks for off-site programs and
all other University related purchases. Seton Hall and Follett have coordinated
to make the purchasing and payment of goods a better and easier experience.
(Please note: The Bookstore will no longer extend credit to Seton Hall
departments.)"
"In some cases, cardholders may not be available to be present at the time of
purchase. As a cardholder you can complete the attached form allowing specific
individuals the right to use your card. Please be sure to only allow those who
you allow to make purchasing decisions for your department. When you have
completed this form, make a copy for your records and send the original in a
sealed envelope to The Seton Hall University Bookstore, Duffy Hall, Attention:
Barbara McKenna - Accounting. Any changes to authorized chargers must be
submitted in writing (via this form) to the Bookstore. If you do not have a
Chase credit card, please contact Martin Koeller in Procurement for assistance.
Should you have any questions about this, please contact Adam Boynton, Store
Manager or Barbara McKenna at 973-761-9065."
