Financial Aid - Helpful Hints
Complete the FAFSA early each year. Remember that the processed results
of your FAFSA must be received at UCF by March 1 to meet the priority
date.
Check your To Do List on
myweb.shu.edu often.
Review the Announcements and Calendar found on Blackboard for
significant up-to-date information year round.
Respond promptly to all information requests.
Maintain a current e-mail and mailing address on myweb at all times.
Include your name and social security number and/or CWID and signatures
on all documents submitted. (Do not submit originals; please make and
submit copies.)
Start a folder to save financial aid information and copies of all
documents filed and received.
Make a copy of tax return forms before submission to IRS.
If a student who has already registered for classes decides not to
attend SHU, then that student must officially drop his/her classes by
the end of the Add/Drop period; otherwise, the student will be obligated
to pay the debts and charges owed to the University.
