What if I do not receive a bill in the mail?
Students are responsible for their balance regardless if they receive a physical bill in the mail. If a bill is not received in the mail, it is not grounds for nonpayment or late payment. Students can view their bursar account online using Web4 Students. Additionally, students can obtain a copy of the bill at Enrollment Services. Bills are mailed to the billing address on file and students are responsible to ensure that address is accurate.
How do I get a refund?
Complete the Refund Request Form and return it to Enrollment Services. It will be processed and mailed in 2 to 4 weeks.
What if I have tuition remission from my company?
Students who have employer reimbursement fall into two categories. The first is direct billing, where a company has set up a payment arrangement with Seton Hall and we bill your approved charges to them, receiving payment directly from the company. In this instance, a copy of the employer’s authorization statement must be presented at registration.
Other students receive reimbursements directly from their employers. These students are required to pay the student tuition bill in the same manner as all other students. Reimbursement for charges is solely between the student and his or her employer. Payments cannot be postponed until students receive their reimbursements from their employers. A copy of the employer’s authorization statement must be presented at registration. Late fees will accrue until payment is received. Payments cannot be postponed until employer reimbursement is received.
How do I defer my payments?
TuitionPay, in cooperation with Seton Hall University, offers several monthly payment plans, both long-term (10 payments per academic year) and short term (4 payments per semester). TuitionPay does not offer a payment plan in the summer term or during intersession. The payments are made interest-free and TuitionPay charges an enrollment fee for each plan, which varies based on the plan chosen. More information and on-line enrollment is available at TuitionPay’s web site, www.tuitionpay.com or by calling 1-800-635-0120.
Students who default on deferred payment arrangements will be removed from current and/or future classes immediately upon default. Late fees will be assessed and continue to accrue until payment in full is received.
