St. John's Soup Kitchen
SHU students give up their mornings to serve.
This weekly event is held every Thursday morning at St. John’s soup kitchen in Newark. Volunteers help prepare meals for the homeless and serve them outside of the church. This program enables volunteers to help those less fortunate than themselves, and to get a glimpse of what it means to be impoverished.
