Volunteers spend an hour reading to children and helping them with arts and crafts projects at the South Orange Library.
I am a big fan of
volunteerism, but time constraints prevent me from volunteering as much
as I would like to. I volunteered for DOVE with CHEER one Friday, and
was amazed by the children at the center. They are so full of life and
love and it was amazing to see how quickly the little ones warmed to
us. I would recommend CHEER to anyone and want to get more involved
with it in the future.
