Seton Hall University maintains a strong commitment to equal employment opportunity and affirmative action.  The University is also committed to compliance with all state and federal anti-discrimination laws.  A summary of the laws involved, and the protections they afford, is contained in the SHU EQUAL OPPORTUNITY/AFFIRMATIVE ACTION POLICY.

The Compliance Officer works with the Office of General Counsel and with University's Affirmative Action Officer to ensure that processes exist for timely and appropriate investigations, concerning potential violations of EEO/AA policy.  The Compliance Officer also coordinates investigations of potential violations of both the University Policy Against Racial and Ethnic Discrimination, and the University Policy Against Sexual Harassment

The Compliance Officer coordinates investigations of potential violations of the University Policy Against Racial and Ethnic Discrimination.  This is accomplished in part through working with the Office of General Counsel and with the University's Affirmative Action Officer to ensure that processes exist for timely and appropriate investigations, concerning potential violations of University policy in this area.
