Prayer:

Liturgy of the Hours Online
This website offers daily printouts of the Liturgy of the Hours Morning, Evening and Night Prayer in Adobe Acrobat format, plus Night Prayer in Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. These prayers are sometimes called the Divine Office, Breviary, Lauds, Vespers and Compline. The prayers are available in 'Booklet' formats for recitation or chant by prayer groups, and in a 'Standard' format for users who prefer enlarged text or have mobile devices. Brought to you by the Liturgy of the Hours Apostolate, P.O. Box 1407, New York, NY 10009 USA. For the alternate homepage, click here.

Sacred Space
We invite you to make a 'Sacred Space' in your day, and spend ten minutes, praying here and now, as you sit at your computer, with the help of on-screen guidance and scripture chosen specially every day. Produced by the Irish Jesuits.

Universalis
The Liturgy of the Hours (also called the Divine Office) is the richest single prayer resource of the Christian Church. It provides prayers, psalms and meditation for every hour of every day. It has existed from the earliest times to fulfill the Lord's command to "pray without ceasing." The Universalis website has been created to give us all, wherever we are and whenever the time, the chance to participate in the Church's universal prayer. The Divine Office is for all Christians, not just Catholics. Many believers of other denominations use this site and all are welcome. Please pause for a moment in your busy life and contemplate what really matters.

Service:

Catholic Relief Services
Our faith community will participate in Catholic Relief Services’ Lenten program, Operation Rice Bowl, as a part of our Lenten observance. Throughout Lent, Operation Rice Bowl will help us pray, fast, learn and give in solidarity with those in need around the world. We encourage you to be a part of this Lenten journey at home with your family and loved ones.

Jesuit Volunteer Corps
The Jesuit Volunteer Corps offers men and women the opportunity to work full time for justice and peace. Jesuit volunteers work internationally and serve the homeless, unemployed, refugees, people with AIDS, the elderly, street youth, abused women and children, and the mentally and developmentally challenged. JVC has become the largest Catholic lay volunteer program in the country. It is more than a job. It is living out the commitment to faith and justice in simplicity, community and spirituality.

St. Vincent Pallotti Center
Many people feel the call to serve others, and some choose to answer that call by entering a full-time volunteer program. There are hundreds of volunteer programs available offering a wide range of positions, living situations, and locations. The St. Vincent Pallotti Center supports faith-based programs (ninety-eight percent are Catholic), meaning that they are rooted in a spiritual understanding of the call to service, but are open to people of all faiths.
